About Cedar

Meet Cedar

Cedar is a charming Golden Retriever stud dog located in Center Point, Iowa. He is not only AKC registered but also genetically tested with Embark and holds OFA clearances.

The demeanor of Cedar is easy to explain. He is the sweetest, most gentle Golden Retriever you'll ever meet. Just like all Goldens, the desire of his heart is to please you. Cedar spent six weeks in obedience training at Arrowhead Kennels in Hudson, Iowa, on site. He is the greatest adventure buddy around. Cedar loves hiking, time along the river, and running with his family.  He loves the water! Cedar has a very gentle spirit, and is obedient. He is sure to pass on strong genetics of a calm spirit and beautiful physical traits. Fully mature, Cedar weighs 70 pounds.

We require that any female have OFA certifications of hips and heart with a minimum of "good" or "normal" ratings. To encourage responsible breeding, we will not breed to any female that does not possess evidence of those certifications. Your female must be AKC registered, with review of their pedigree. We also require evidence of all current vaccinations, including Bordetella and Brucellosis screening. 

You will bring your female to us when she is ready to be bred. They will be bred, with supervision. We will not breed more than once per day. The contract covers two breeding's.  Please review the Stud Contract in its entirety prior to committing to utilizing Cedar.
